Cialis

The Cialis Advantage

Cialis is a prescription drug used in the treatment of mild to severe erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It has some advantages over rival medicines, but provides the same basic support to ED sufferers based on increasing the flow of blood to the genitals. As part of a complete erectile dysfunction treatment, Cialis has proven to be very effective in clinical and real world trials.

One of the key advantages of Cialis over and above the rivals is that it has en effect that lasts for around 36 hours. Before you get worried, this doe not mean that the primary effect, that of causing an erection, lasts for 36 hours, since this would be uncomfortable and even dangerous.

Since Cialis helps the body to react to sexual stimulation, although the potential for an erection is there for 36 hours (which puts it well above the competition), that erection will only take place if the individual receives stimulation. This also means that if the ED problem so severe, that there is a psychological reason for not becoming stimulated, then additional treatments will be required to treat the root causes.

Since Cialis lasts for such a long time, there is no reason to plan the weekends entertainment around talking a pill between meals, or just before anticipated sexual activity. Planning in this way can also cause problems with ED, and spontaneity is often one of the best sexual stimulants for both parties.

People suffering from ED sometimes forget that there are two people affected by ED in the relationship, and Cialis provides an alternative which allows both sides to benefit, by not dictating a timeframe in which the sexual activity should take place.

Of course, the usual rules apply when taking a drug that will affect blood flow – no drinking to excess being among the most important. Excess here is defined as around 5 units of alcohol (5 glasses of wine), and can, in conjunction with a drug like Cialis, cause blood pressure to drop severely.

Some of the more strict guidelines, such as avoiding fatty foods and waiting until after a meal has been digested before using the drug do not apply, though, which is a real bonus for those wishing to combine existing lifestyle choices with an ED treatment.

Finally, only take Cialis under the instructions of a medical practitioner, or at least as part of a treatment plan that involves medical advice. There are imitation drugs available, which may prove to be less effective, or even dangerous to use without explicit guidelines.
